ok so i just ordered a corsair h100i liquid cooler and i'm going to overclock my i7 3770k.
motherboard asus sabertooth z77

1-are there any overclock guides on this mobo?

2-what do you think i can overclock to and Never hit 75 C on max load.??

3-also, are the stock fans going to be adequate on the h100i?? if not what should i replace them with and how many? how effective would that be?

I read a review on the Corsair H100 and the fans. The fans that are included with the H100 are the same or better than any of Corsairs "high performance" fans. So stick with the stock fans.

As far as overclocks go you can run 4.5Ghz while being below 75C in prime95. Maybe not in Intel Burn In Test. But with my Scythe Ninja 3 Cpu air cooler I only get up to 70C in Prime95 when overclocked at 4.5Ghz. Right now I get up to almost 80C, but I'm at 4.7Ghz. Yeah 10C while only getting .2Ghz, the temps go SKY HIGH after 4.5Ghz in my experience. Yours might be a TAD hotter because of Hyper Threading on your i7 so you may have to stick with 4.4Ghz to be 75C and below.

Trust what I'm saying, I wouldn't lie to you.
