My memory card is corrupted and not showing in laptop

i have a 8gb memory card and it wasworking properly in my htc wildfire...but in these past days ,,my memory card is not seen in mobile as well as in my laptop......then how can i format the memory card because it cant be seen in any devices......plzzzzz help me fast.......

Try connecting to all USB ports on your PC.
If you still can't see it or access it, then be prepared to realize that it may be dead!
