Gskill Ripjaws ....Good timings?

Hi all i am thinking on buying these sticks of ram

those are 2 modules of 4gb ram each @ 1333MHz wich i was planning to overclock to 1600Mhz but my concern was the timing........ it is 9-9-9-24...is that good for HEAVY GAMING??

is there any way i can reduce the timing ...also i saw on newegg a much more attractive set of ram from GEIL it has a timing of 7-7-7-20 that for what i know it is better....

BUT the only review it has says it suck it was DOA...etc i cant let that happen since what i am going to buy is going to ship to venezuela.... so i cant RMA or anything..... they are both at the same price 89.99 altough the geil memory is only @1066 Mhz and the G.SKILL is @ 1333 ...so what should i buy??

Go for the gskill. I ordered the 1600 version two days ago, but haven't received them yet. The timings are just average. They may not overclock well, but should work fine at the stock settings.

Yeah, that is good for heavy gaming.

That linked Geil only has 1066 mem speed. Go for 1333 instead. If I choose between two, I would go for G.Skill link above.
