Im lookin to build a computer and i've had several idea's but haven't really set my mind on a couple of parts so I would like a second opinion :D

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: This weekend

BUDGET RANGE: 2000

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: I need a computer that will run Battlefield 2 BC2 on highest settings with no problem. Starcraft 2 also. The rest is history

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS, Case

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: NCIX.COM COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Canada

PARTS PREFERENCES: Computer Must have an i7 processor, no real MB preference (I do like EVGA though), Im looking at the GTX 480 for graphics( Not a huge Radeon fan) but change my mind if you can. 1 TB hard drive, 6 GIGS RAM

OVERCLOCKING: Yes SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Im looking for a good cpu heatsink since I will be overclocking. I do prefer quiet fans. The Case will be the Thermaltake VA8003BWS so it will fit basically anything.

the price is bendable by a little

Thanks :D

right now ati is leading in graphics cards but its not like buying a nvidia will be a huge performance difference
i personally buy from directcanada.com some really good prices on there
id recommend the ASUS P6X58D Premium for your motherboard
the intel i7 930 would be your best bet (its replacing the 920 so it willb e the same price)

i dont know that much but hopefully it helps

A snappy AM3 fps gamer's build, please ...

5850 + 4GB 1600/7 + Fast A-II or P-II

= Al =

(PS: ... Stretch for 5870, if at all possible) ... Just ONE GPU ... Best you can possibly afford ... "build-down" around it.
