I have purchased a Thermaltake V3 Black Edition VL80001W2Z Black SECC / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Going to be putting a Phenom X4 965 BE along with a ASUS M5a97.

Will the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO fit the case?

No, the 212 Evo doesn't fit in that case at least that you don't use the side window.

You need something more small that a Hyper 212 Evo, so, TX3 Evo or similar. Check the wide dimension of your case and the high dimension of the cooler, with that is enough to know if fit or not.

its 160mm.

The cooler master 212 evo specs says 159mm
The cooler master 212 plus specs says.158.5mm
