Hp compaq dc7100 sff can it drive 2 HDD's?

I was going to add a second HD to my DC7100 sff, but see only one connector set available, rather than the dual connector found on desktops, etc.
Is the motherboard already populated for two drives, but only one drive was provided? Or...is it designed for only one drive, period. Sure would like to know.

Thanks,

Larry

More about compaq dc7100 drive
  1. If you only need more storage space I recommend buy one like this "USB3.0 or USB2.0 to SATA/IDE Adapter "
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1PU0GG9969, you can find it in your area local shop or online.
  2. The dc7100sff comes with 2 x SATA ports. So yes, you can fit a 2nd hdd to it. I don't know what "dual" connector you're talking about. Are you talking about the IDE cable? That's only for your CD/DVD drive. It is not for your hard drive(s).

The motherboard has 2 SATA ports. You may just need to buy a SATA cable to connect your new hard drive to it. The screws to mount the hard drive are found at the front of the case after you remove the cover.
