Hello all,

I just had a question about motherboard and ram.

I am getting this motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131666&cm_re=asus_rampage_iii-_-13-131-666-_-Product

In the memory details it says "memory standard
DDR3 2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066"

Im a total newb when it comes to ram/motherboards, so I'm guessing those 4 numbers following the DDR3 means what kind of ram the motherboard supports?

So would these DDR3 1333 sticks work with this Mobo and an i7 950 processor?

That link takes you to the manufactures website. It has a list of approved ram, exact names and part numbers you can google and buy. If you don't buy the right stuff your computer will not boot. So Take a look at the approved RAM and buy accordingly. With newer boards like this one they only start off with a smaller list of approved RAM, until they starting getting more updated Bios.
