HI guys

I was running 16gb 1333mhz DDR3 Ripjaw Ram and was told it would be better if i just bought 8gb 1600mhz DDR3 ram but i am not seeing any difference even in benchmarking. I checked the Bios and saw it was set to 1333mhz so i changed it to 1600mhz without any problems. but thats as far as i know in terms of amending anything to do with the ram.

i have a
asrock 970 Extreme 3 motherboard
Fx-6100
8gb kingston hyperx or KHX1600C9D3X2K/8GX if easier
Powercool GT 700W 80+ Dual 12V V2.2 High Efficiency PSU

if there is a way to improve the ram could someone please explain or direct me to the right place thanks

As far as I know, if you are gaming, higher Mhz RAM will only make tiny improvements. There is a small performance improvement from 1333 to 1600 but upwards I'm pretty sure its not worth the hassle. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Here's a read about RAM for SB

Regarding other activities, I guess more RAM instead of faster RAM could do the trick but dont quote me on that one.
