Asus m50v video drivers

Hello!

I have an Asus m50v notebook with an HDMI jack. I recently bought an HDMI cable to hook my computer up to my TV, but when I plug it in, the screen is blank.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stupid question: you've tried setting your TV to receive input through it's HDMI in, right?
