Install win 7 x64 from another hard disk

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask. Sorry if it is wrong.

Hello I've got an issue with one computer and I can't solve it.
I don't have DVD or USB flash drive but I've got a second HDD.
I would like to know if it is possible to use this HDD as a bootable HDD and install win7 x64.
Right now, I am using windows XP x86 and would like to install windows 7 x64 using this HDD.
If it is possible, could you show/tell me how its done. Thank you.

  1. You don't have the Windows 7 install DVD?

You've got it copied to the second hard drive, the install programs?

And what kind of PC are you using? You say Win XP x86 to Win 7 x64, does your CPU support 64-bit?

I don't have DVD Drive and I cannot use DVD.
Yes my PC can support x64 ( phenom II x4 965 BE) and everything but I am wondering if I could install win7 from my second HDD, something like bootable HDD. I am not sure, I've been searching whole day and didn't find any proper source.
  3. You don't have and can't use the install DVD? Ok.

Is the install disk copied (how) to the second hard drive?

I don't see how you can boot from/to the drive to install the OS without a USB or DVD drive.

Is this a laptop? Get an external DVD drive. Oh wait, those are USB.

Or do you just not have a USB flash drive. GET ONE! They are cheap! 4GB for $4 at microcenter.com.

You are up a creek, buddy.

    Cheers.
