Free up space on DVD/CD RW D Drive

trying to install microsoft 2000 flight sim to my computer i put the disk in my dvd rom and hit autoplay then says 0 bytes of freespace of 455 MB and i have 4 diskdrves with lots of freespace

Sounds like you are trying to install it to the DVD drive, not install FROM it. Are you selecting the default setup directory and what is it showing up as?

thats a good question...when i insert disk a little box appears setupexe and i select it and then it just stops ...like nothing happened....so how do i get to where i can choose default setup?

also i forgot to mention...even with no disk in the DVD drive E, i can go to properties and it shows a full disk with 0 bytes just like if i was checking local C or D diskdrive properties ???

That's normal.

Do other disks work fine? Does this disk work in another computer.
