Windows 7 64 Phenom Cool & Quiet

I updated my PC to Windows 7 64 bit
The problem I am having is LOUD fan (CPU fan)
My Gigagyte motherboard came with Cool & Quet, but that only worked on XP PRO machines, and did a good job supressing fan noise.
What utility can I use to bring down the noise?
My rig is:
GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P 790X RT
CPU AMD|PH II X4 945F 3.0G AM3 R
MEM 2Gx2|GSK F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK R

yeah. if u cant figure it out, just download speedfan, a fan speed chaning program!
however, you shouldnt have any problems with win7 using CnQ

You need cool n quiet enabled in the bios, and you need proper power settings in windows vista/7.

Ah nake sure you set your power profile to monimal pwer savings.

I was having a similar problem...

...ASUS M2N-e SLi... fixed it in the bios...

Thank you, I never thought about BIOS! I flashed it few weeks ago, and now I remember since then, it ran much louder, Thank you!!!!
