Lost my resolution on syncmaster 220wm

i was previously able to use higher resolutions and now all the sudden only choices i have are 1024/768 and 800/600. I reinstalled drivers for both and still have the issue. Tried adding resolutions from the Nvidia control panel and it only had those resolutions. im Running the Syncmaster 220wm and nVidia 9800 GTX.

What do you mean reinstalled drivers for both, are you using VGA or DVI to connect monitor to graphics card?

using dvi. i removed the items from device manager and reinstalled both.

That is for the graphics card right? Anyway check to see if your graphics card recognizes the monitor and the monitor driver is up to date. I have a 9400 GT and I'm plugged into the SyncMaster 205BW with version 3 of the monitor software.
