gonna upgrade to a 8core 8350+ asus sabertooth rev2 am3+. just wondering if my current coolermaster evo 212 would be able to overclock to 4.5 gigahertz and stay within 60 degrees celcius load.

also wondering whats the max temps allowed on the 8350? by amd.

just need to know what 50-60$ cooler ud recommand if my evo isnt enought.

62 is max temp , and yes 212 should keep you under 60c , I use a deepcool mc300gx and it keeps my 8350 under 55c @ 4.4 so the 212 should do better

Well the EVO can definitely handle the 8350 @ 4.5Ghz but temps will be higher There is no official MAX TEMP for the 8350 it seems. Most do not want to go over 62c for 24/7 use.

It all depends on how much voltage you need
