i'd like input from you guys...

the board must have usb 3.0 and sata 3...
on board video is a plus but not necessary, i have no problem slapping a 30-$40 vid card in it since its not for gaming....its gonna be for audio production

so far i have my eyes on the GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H AM3 AMD 890GX

i'd be greatful for some ram recommendations also :)

thanks in advance

The only mobo I know with onboard video and front USB3.0 bracket is that one:

(See the last pic)
But there's a lot of PCIex16 you wont use.

Or a case with front USB 3.0

Some other good cases (no fronet USB 3.0)

thanx emperus but i looked at it on newegg and noticed it didnt have to many reviews and it has been out for quite a while even thought that can mean nothing...

what makes you say that board would be optimal for my needs? is that a board audio enthusiasts go for?

and im not to familiar with asrock but i see quite a few people recommending them....seems as if theyre the new kid on the block providing what people need with good support as far as keeping up with their bios updates...am i somewhere in the ballpark with that assumption?

what about this 1

@mosox

i like this board...i like the price even more lol....only thing i dont like is no onboard usb 3.0 for front usb 3.0 access, but a hub should take care of that! i just hope it works with the 1090t right out the box...

i hope this case will suit it nicely

as a matter of fact i think im gonna order the case and mobo today...free shipping on the case for right now so that -$20 will suit me nicely since im on a tight budget

it saddens me that the asrock mobo's dont have the pretty pics in the overview tab on newegg :(

but the ASRock 890GX EXTREME4 u mention seems to call out to me...im googling to find out if its a recent board...only 2 stores have it and theres only 2 reviews on newegg

would this ram be good for the board? i see i'd have to oc or something...is that difficult?

Since you want USB3.0 and onboard headers for USB3.0 I would also suggest this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157207
since its only $25 more than the $109 GIGABYTE board you liked that's the price of a USB3 card or a hub.

Also since you said

is it safe to assume that you already have a good sound card? Or would you like some recommendations?
