HELP!! its a MINI vga I need a FULL VGA!!

I'm completely freaking out cuz I finally opened this laptop after two days, but it turns out it has an external monitor port which they labeled as a MINI VGA port?? I NEED a VGA PORT, a FULL ON VGA PORT for school. Is there any way that I can make it this????

All I know is this laptop has holes in the weird looking rectangle. That makes no sense. But it looks like what is to the left of this picture, minus screws on the sides. I basically need the screws on the sides.

1 VGA 15-pin D-sub now I see it has that. The computer I originally wanted is back on sale after I opened the stupid box great. ![:(]( ":(")
This computer is only by refund once opened wtf.
So now I'm having to spend $20 on a numeric key pad and $35 to take up one of my usb ports and get a usb to vga one nice. AHH.
Someone make me feel better and tell me its a better buy then
