System ;

CPU : Intel QX6700 (early quad core, 130W)
MB : Asus P5B-VM
Cooling : Zalman ZM-NC2000B
Case : Antec NSK6500 with case cooling fan and 2 HD fans
Asus Q-Fan profile : optimal

CPU is *not* overclocked and runs at 35°C idle for days. (51°C with Prime95 "maximum heat" test)

Sometimes it happens,during normal operation, temperatures rises to 85°C.
Temperature ok again after simple reboot.

I do not know if it's a false reading or not.

Any suggestions ?

Yes i'm sure.

I know it's not normal, hence this topic.
