Hi! :hello:

I need some expert opinions on which brand of RAM to choose.....
My two options are,

1) G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

2) Kingston Value RAM 2GB DDR3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I'm planning on going for 8GB. I must say, these are the only Brands available in my country.

System:
Intel Core i5 760
Intel P55WB Mobo(4 Slots for RAM)
750W PSU
Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Thanks in Advance! :)

I just installed the gskill 1600 2x2 gb kit with the same timings 9-9-9-24. It runs fine; I had to enable a special setting in the bios to get to 1600 speed. My msi h55 board had the default setting at 1333. Both brands run at 1.5v with the same timings and have a lifetime warranty. You can go with either one. Kingston is more widely available at retail outlets; that's about the only difference.

As of late, G.Skill has been top-notch when it comes to RAM. I will only buy G.Skill until proven otherwise as i have had nothing but great results with G.Skill. Hope this helps...
