Not able to play nfs most wanted

whenever i m trying to start nfs the massage shows that d3dx9_26.dll not found even after i install it. please tell me how ll i solve this problem.

Try updating your video card drivers, also apply all updated patches for the game, and make sure your video card supports the game. Also make sure you have all the updates for your OS. Try uninstalling your video card drivers and reinstalling as well as directx.

download the .dll from http://www.dlldll.com/d3dx9_26.dll_download.html

then paste it into your System32 folder

usually works pretty well w/ a couple pesky dx related .dll files
