The KING PERFORMING air coolers are these... (I was doing extensive research late at night a couple nights ago, so take these answers as a final)...

1. Phanteks PH-TC14PE

2. Thermalright Silver Arrow

3. Noctua NH-D14

In order that is how they stack up against each other. The Silver Arrow & the PH-TC14PE both perform almost the same, but I've seen that more temperature experiments lean towards the Phanteks PH-TC14PE. The Noctua is a great performer as well, but it is slightly outperformed by the others and has a pretty ugly color scheme. I'd jump on the Phanteks PH-TC14PE like I did a couple nights ago after doing extensive research on the bestest air coolers available. Hope this helps you out.

for bang for the buck we generally recommend the CM 212+ or CM 212 Evo I can't remember which one is the newer one that was updated.

U can also just google cpu heatsink chart or something along those lines and there is a website that does a lot of comparisons of heatsinks that breaks it down nicely for you.

i recommend the cm 212 evo with push pull config
maybe using these fans instead of the stock is better
the noctua NF-F12 pwm fans
