So right now i have a 120 GB SSD cause i was waiting for HDD prices to return to normal but they haven't. So I decided to just buy one since the prices are a little lower and I really need one. I was just wondering what the best HDD to get would be. I would prefer it 1TB and around $100.

Right now, I am looking at this one:
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185

Thanks!

I was looking at that one earlier but is it gonna be much different from the one i linked? from what I heard, HDD's don't optimize the 6.0 GB/s enough to make a huge difference. And i heard that 64 MB cache is unnecessary.

Samsung is a very good drive, I like the WD 5 year warranty, which I have used with no hassles.

But performance wise, will the two perform differently?

I actually have both drives in my machine. The Samsung has slightly faster throughput (according to benchmarks), but I haven't really noticed any difference.
