SSD Windows Partition: Freezes

I just installed Windows 7 64bit on a new Corsair Force 3 120GB SSD. I accidentically struck the PC case on the top rear-end, and the computer completely froze up. I realize that hitting the computer is obviously a bad thing to do, but is it supposed to freeze up?

The same thing happened when I put the side panel back onto the case.

FYI: The case is a Cooler Master HAF X.

  1. There are no moving parts inside SSDs so probably a loose data connection or a loose power connection to the drive caused your system to freeze up.
  2. Alright, thanks for the quick answer. I'll recheck the wires and make sure that they are connected properly.
