I need to figure out what my WEP key is and my pass phrase for myD-link router so that I can log on to the interenet on my kids computer with a linksys
wireless adapter

Have a look at the literature which came with the router or from the Internet Service Provider and find the user setup screen login password. Link computer to router with ethernet cable and log in to the setup screens, go to Wireless Security section and review or renew the wireless security type and passphrase.

Apply those settings to the new computer's wireless adapter utilities or to Window Wireelss Connection settings.
