Hello to you all guys.
I have a question, We're about to buy a new rendering hardware configuration. My boss though, would want an estimate of how much the new hardware will speed up the rendering.

The old hardware is:
OS: Windows XP Professional SP 2
CPU Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz
RAM: 2 GB of RAM
GPU: Nvida Geforce 6600 128mb ram
PSU: CCIVO 450W

Using Tom's Hardware for help, we're looking into buying this:
OS: Windows XP Professional SP 2
CPU: Core i7 i7-920 2.66GHz
Mobo: INTEL X58pro-e/ICH10R, Intel i7 LGA1366, QPI 6.4GT/s, 24GB max on 6 x DDRIII 1333 , 3x PCI-E 2.0 x16 CF, 2x PCI, 2xPCIex1, Audio 7.1 ch. Realtek® ALC888, DUAL Gigabit Lan,1x IDE,7x SATA2(RAID 0, 1, 5, 10)+1 ,1xExternal S-ATA ®, 8 x USB 2.0 ports,1 x IEEE1394,1 x Optical SPDIF-out, 130W CPU,Heat-Sink cooling solution, DrMOS, APS, Hi-C Cap, Blue-ray support
RAM: 2 x DDR3/1600MHz 6GB Non-ECC CL9 (9-9-9-27) DIMM (Kit of 3) Int XMP - HyperX
GPU: HP NVIDIA Quadro FX1800 768MB Card
PSU: Corsair 750W

The uploaded image took about 4 hours to render. How much do you take it will take with the new configuration.
We use Vray to render.

thank you very much for your response guys ;)

At least 4 times faster.
