GTX260 won't be able to handle much of 1920x1080 or 2560x1650. Get an HD5830/HD5850 for those resolutions if you want high settings.

well if you already bought the GTX 260 then you should stick with the 22" monitor. you will get better fps in games that way and can play with higher graphic settings. what resolution is the 22" monitor?

THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT SO.MY THOUGHT WAS TO KEEP IT LIKE THAT FOR A WHILE(GTX 260 ON 24 INCH MONITOR,1920x1080)AND PLAY WITH LOWER SETTINGS TILL A BUY MYSELF A BETTER CARD.THE ONLY PROBLEM IS HOW MANY FPS COULD HANDLE IN DIFFICULT GAMES(ON LOWER-MEDIUM SETTINGS ).THANKS

Welcome to the forums!

A single GTX 260 is still quite capable of gaming at 1920x1080.
If you are willing to lower some quality settings on more demanding games, you will have no issues gaming with the new monitor.

Also, please turn off the Caps-Lock.
Despite what some say, it is NOT the cruse control to cool :kaola:

You're right, it's not cruse control. It's cruise control. [:waffle911]

Thanks to you all.I made up my mind and i'll take the 24'' monitor. It's not something you change frequently so i'll sacrifice some performance.Afterall,i can always lower the resolution

O.k. I have a GTX260 (192 SP) 1728MB model and I game (CODMW@) at 1920x1080 and 4AA and see no issues at all. The card never even gets above 46C. However I am moving onto 2560x1600 and bought a ASUS EAH5870.
