Hi, everybody......I´m doing my first build, I started It a while ago, but I had to put It on hold for several reasons, but I´m back on track and I got pretty much everything already.

This is what I got so far:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE

ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 790GX HDMI ATX Motherboard

ANTEC 300 Case

Western Digital Caviar black 640 Gb 7200 rpm HDD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-319-_-Product

LG BlURAY burner

ANTEC EA650 Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371015

4GB A-DATA Gaming Series DDR3-1600
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-409-_-Product

WINDOWS 7 Professional 64 Bit

And I already own this Monitor:
ACER X193W+BD High resoultion monitor:

I´m not planning on doing any heavy gaming, I will use the PC for a little bit of everything, but I want It to be able to handle anything I throw at It, if I want to.

I was thinking on using the on board video for a while, but I´m still considering a budget video card:

SAPHIRE RADEON HD 4670

And one last thing, I´ve been reading some many bad opinions on the stock cooler of the 955 BE, what aftermarket cooler do you recommend for this CPU, and will It fit the ANTEC300?

Thanks in advance.

Stock cooler is fine unless gaming is a priority. But just so you know, the majority of aftermarket coolers will fit the A300.
Consider getting a Samsung Spinpoint F3 or Seagate 7200.12 500GB, both of which will run cooler and faster than that WD.
If you want a budget gaming card, I suggest the 5670. The 4670 is a good budget card, but it's been aging quite a bit.
Get RAM running 1333MHz if it saves you $10+, because you probably won't need the faster bus. You can also shave off a bit from the PSU and something like a ~500W. More than enough for a single budget card. If you end up with a bit more to spend, shoot for an 890GX mobo, like one of these.

Case/PSU: Antec 300 Illusion and Earthwatts 650W $130. Combo to save some cash. Once you count shipping, the Illusion and the regular 300 are the same price, but you get two extra fans with the Illusion.

HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500 GB $55. Link to the Seagate. I prefer to recommend it because last I checked, you had to pay shipping on the Samsung.

Agree with the rest, except the aftermarket cooling for gaming. You only need the aftermarket cooler if you're planning on overclocking. Most gamers do OC, but that doesn't mean you must have an aftermarket cooler for gaming.

If you just want a HSF, a good one is the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus.

Thanks a lot for the recommendations guys, the list of parts is stuff that I already have, I had bought them from different stores and usually on-sale...so I was able to save a good amount of money.

I will stick with the stock cooler then, the reason I was asking is because I read that the stock fan is way to noisy, now my other question is: should I use the provided paste? or should I use aftermarket, for example AS5?

Thanks again.
