Is it a bad game or computer?

On my computer I haver I tried playing Hot Wheels Mechanix game and it was working decently. Now when I try to play it the whole screen goes blurry and the game does not work. Is it because my computer can not play games no matter what I do (such as changing video cards) or is the gam etoo old to play on my computer. I am worried because Crysuis and call of duty migh tnow work then even if i get a new video card.

Also you can test your theory by tring out free games such as combat arms and playing it to see if you can play modern games. BTW combat arms is very low demanding on hardware, a great game to test your computer for no money.
