BIOS update for CPU compatibility?

Hello,
I recently purchased a AMD Dual Core processor
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

I did a little research into that, however not deep enough, and came to find out my motherboard does not support this cpu. Is there a way I can update my BIOS in order to be able to use this cpu? Thanks

I reformatted and loaded Windows XP Professional(32-Bit SP2) instead of Vista.
2GB of RAM
120GB HDD
ATI Radeon 4650
Motherboard: Asus M2N61-LA
