i am using gt240 and want to upgrade my sytem.Is it worth to upgrade to 5770

GT240 DOES NOT run DX11 effects. To take full advantage of the game you need an ATI 5xxx card. In your case the 5770.

what about the NVIDIA Physx.ATI does not have the technology.does this affect the game played.

nVidia Physix is NOT running in ALL games. There is a short list of games that support nVIdia Physix and from what I know Dirt2 is not among them.

Yes. You won't have the Nvidia Physix effects. Otherwise no difference.

The chances of you noticing the difference between a game using PhysX and the same game without is pretty small. But then again, the chance of you noticing a difference in Dirt2 between dx10 and dx11 is smaller still.

Also getting a graphics card really depends on your resolution. But with the 5770, anything below 16xx is acceptable, trying to go over that with a 5770 it will have some FPS Issues with newer games on max/medium settings depending on the game.

now I have some choices of 5770;XFX,sapphire,gigabyte,powercolor.Which one of this that i should get?need some info please..

Umar, get the cheapest one. They all perform the same. But XFX tends to come with a double lifetime warranty, which sometimes comes in handy.
