S-video sound

Hello,
i connected s-video to mt Toshiba laptop and from there i connected it to hdmi converter and i connected hdmi port to samsung lcd tv and played a video,video is good but i cant hear audio from tv i can hear it from my laptop,so plzz help me

Indeed. Only a "true" HDMI connection is able to carry sound along with video. S-Video doesn't have the bandwidth to handle it, i.e. it's outdated technology.
