Alright all, I've searched the forums but I haven't found anything that works.

I've got a XFX 5770 in a new build. The card won't boot at all, motherboard isn't even recognizing so I don't even get a display.

My system is as follows
windows 7
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R
core i7 930
8 GB (4x 2) gskill ripjaw 1600
XFX radeon 5770 (juniper xt)
2x 640 GB in raid 1 (7200 RPM)

I threw in an old geforce 6600 I had laying around just to setup windows 7 and update the bios.

I've updated my MB bios to the latest version via Gigabytes website and still nothing. Any thoughts on what I might be able to do? Or is my card bad?

Thanks in advance.

I'm having a similar problem. video card had 6pin plugged in. it is getting power but not sure from board or plug. tried it in a different slot and same thing happened. I have an ASUS p6t se motherboard. pulled it and put in an old ati video card and it booted.

Yup, its all powered up with a 6 pin connector. Not sure what the deal is, going to try it in a asus AMD build a friend has today, we'll see if it boots up. Any other help thoughts would be great.

Power supply is OCZ 700 Watt ready for SLI or Crossfire.
