There are so many mobo's to choose... HELP ME...

I'm looking at the AMD 965 CPU. I think it has VALUE now at $160. I need a good mobo and memory to go with it. I'm not set on any features or price. What I need is a good STABLE board and recommendations of what memory and how much. Thanks in advance to you great geeks. I'm using the Antec 900 case. 2 VelociRaptor HD's in RAID 2 I think (if that's the one that mirrors each other).

MOBO: ASRock 870 Extreme3 is the best overall value for AM3. It is basically like a 890FX board at a 870 pricing.

Hey tec,

Nice find... I was looking at the MSI 890FXA-GD70 $180 after rebate. Is it worth it or stick with the 870? I've never used ASRock are they first tier?

I'm going to say go with ASRock for the price difference & I'm not a fan if MSI (bad experience with them). It is a $80 savings you can use to upgrade other components, if need be!
