Hello, i have just bought samsung galaxy y duos... and memory card is samsung micro sd 2 gb... suddenly mobile showed blank memory card.... when i tried to format in mobile, process didn't complete... same thing in laptop... Windows is unable to format the disk... I tried that software from panasonic... that too showing card is write protected... release the lock switch.. even thought lock switch was released only... plz help me....
Standard case of the card going bad. SD cards go into a "write protected" state when they go bad. Typically this is to preserve some amount of data, so you can recover the data yourself. But this doesn't always work.
And you've tried the best tool you can, that Panasonic/SD Association format utility. If that can't format, then nothing can.
It sounds like you just bought the card, so you should be able to get it RMA'd for free and easy.
