My nephew wants to upgrade his graphics card from an HIS 5770 to a HIS 5870. This is on a 1156 pin P7P55D-E Pro board with an i7 860 CPU, 4GB ram and 2 HDD and 2 DVD.
No overclocking or crossfire graphics setup are planned in the future.
Current PSU is a corsair VX550, will it be OK with the new graphics card or should he go up to at least a corsair TX650? the corsair site says it should be OK and it meets the power output recommended on the HIS site.
