K, so I ordered some PC part and I'm not too sure if the memory will be compatible with the MB.

I'm getting:
Gigabyte G41M-COMBO LGA775 Dual-Channel DDR3 / DDR2 which supports DDR3 1333(O.C)/1060/800
Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9 XMS3 4GB DDR3-1333 1.5v CL9

From what I understand the motherboard should automatically clock the memory at 1060 and then I could
just manually oc it to 1333 if i like. The MB and Memory are both 1.5v. I just wanna make sure before it's too late and I end up having to buy
new memory.

Other PC specs:

Q8400 quadcore 2.66
HD4870x2
Corsair 750w PSU
a c 128 } Memory

The corsair ram should work. Not sure what speed it will run; probably the same as the cpu fsb. On some boards, the actual ram speed is double what the bios setting is. So, for 1333, the bios or cpuz may report the speed as 667.

Got the parts a while ago and it works perfectly fine, DDR3 1333(single channel / 1 stick) in an 800/1060/1333(O.C) board runs at 1060 and goes up to 1333 when the cpu is clocked up from 2.66ghz -> 3.4ghz +-
