No sound

i removed and reinstaled the motherboard and now i have no sound...:(

Have you installed the audio drivers.? Also, if You've any dedicated audio card installed then please check your motherboards bios and disable the onboard audio if its enabled..

i have only the onboard sound card if that is what you mean

Sounds like your sound drivers are not installed.

You need to go into device manager and see if the sound card is installed(if it is not it should have a yellow exclamation mark inside a triangle), if it is not, there should be a model number on the sound card (physically). You will need this to find the correct driver to use.

Then download the drivers for the device from the manufacturers website (manufacturer should be listed somewhere near the model number on the sound card, something like realtek, creative etc). Search for the website in google or whatever search engine you prefer)

Install the drivers and your sound should work.
