Possibility of adding 3rd ddr3?

Hello everyone,

Currently I have an i7 950 x58 mobo (capable of triple channel) running with 2x2g dual ddr3. If I were to add an additional ddr3 of the same type & make, will my bios detect them as triple channel?

Any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

I was running with a pair of ddr3 initially. But now my friend wanna pass me his ddr3 of the same make/type so thats y i wanna make sure i could go triple channel with his ddr3.
