More about building 2500 gaming
  1. Look at the "builds by usage" sticky to get some ideas and then look at the "how to ask for help" sticky to post your question with enough information we can give you a good answer.
  2. I would recoemend 2 5970s, and a HX-1000 and a i7-930 at that price.
  3. You can buy literally everything for that price - new core i7, two or more GPU, 16 gigs of ram...
  4. Why need 16gb of ram?
  5. Of course, no one actually needs it... 8 or 12 will be enough. But 16 is the maximum on most mobos.
  6. 6 is good enogh.

    Look at my build....
  7. FOR GAMING, AND $2500 BUDGET I'D PROLY GO WITH THIS SETUP:

lmao , how? care to elaborate..

    * 2 x5970= quad crossfire is a waste of money, it doesn't scale as well, it's not worth it when we talk about price/performance.

    EVGA E758-TR 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58
and 2 ATI cards, good luck!

    Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3750528AS 750GB
    VS.
    SSD
    1tb hhd

    you definably win!!
    =)

    Oh wait the memory
    Speed DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)
    Cas Latency 9
    Timing 9-9-9-27-2N
    lol
    noob

and lets not mention the mega-shadow vs you post no heatsink, ok!

you think just because u got an i7 930 and a x58 mobo with 2 5970 you build will just get itself done and start playing all the game with no hiccups, well sorry, go read some reviews kid.
