  1. Hi,

    Firstly congratulations on your graduation.

Secondly (and far more importantly) put that PSU in the bin where it belongs, Rocketfish PSU's are awful.

    Check out this review: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2008/05/13/getting_best_buy_on_power_supply/5#.URtbqaVrj9Y

Rocketfish only list the dimensions and the 1 year warranty on their website under your PSU's spec's, why haven't they listed the PSU's efficiency ratings, rail design or outputs? (rhetorical question, they obviously haven't listed the important info because the PSU is utter crap).

Anyway, what is your budget for the entire PC?
  2. baHAHA rocketfish....kiss your whole rig goodbye.

msi is a terrible company..damn near impossible to get any kind of warrenty on anything.
  3. as mentioned get a qaulity PSU (it can take out everything else if it goes)

well now someone tells me about msi warranty :P

    1600mhz ram is just fine

aim for a gigabyte mb like the 970a ds3
  4. Thx for the replies , my budget was 500 for everything and i have $475 in everything right now, the rocketfish is the rocketfish rf-500wps2 80+ if its really that bad ill swap it out, looked it up and didnt seem too bad but i know its not great, can anyone recommend a decent one around $50.00 that would be great.
  5. Hi,

This would be the cheapest PSU I'd recommend for you: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030

Get rid of that rocketfish ASAP.
