This is the current system I'm planning on building in the next week or so, but i would love some better suggestions or changes to the config, budget is flexible but would like to keep it under 3K, also this is a system that I intend to upgrade in 6 months or so maybe with extra ram and another HD5970, any other suggestions with this in mind much appreciated.

Anyways

1. I would go with the i7 930 ( better bang for the buck ) IMO

2. HDD I would go for seagate 7200.12 1TB or Samsung F3 1TB both are faster then the WD Blacks

3. GPU is the best out ATM but might be overkill for just 1920x1080 rez a HD 5870 would give you grate FPS in most all games ( but crysis ) less your trying to max crysis or add 2 or 3 monitors a HD 5870 would do.

5. PSU A good quality 750W would be enough for 2 HD 5870 in xfire and OCing the CPU ( if your into OCing the GPUs maybe a 850W would be good )
