5870 bios flashing (3 cards)

I have 3 5870s in crossfirex. I found a guide to flash the 5870 bios, as it seems that's the only way to fix the problem I have of my displayport monitor going black for a few seconds every so often. My question is if I can flash it, or will it mess it up b/c I have 3 cards in there??

Seems risky. Are all three cards running the same bios? I have two 5850s and they had different bios. Simply swapping the cards position solved my display port problem. Use GPU-Z and see if all are running same bios.

yes, the bios is the same on all 3 cards. 1 is Powercolor though, and 2 are XFX

If you are intent on flashing, I would say remove two cards and simply flash one. My understanding of the problem is that the display port is not getting enough voltage so only one card needs the bios update, the one your using for eyefinity.
