I finished building my first computer a few months ago and i had 4gbs ram. I just got 4gb and installed today. I have them set to 1600mhz in bios which they are supposed to be running at. I don't know much about ram timing so this is where i need help. They are supposed to be at 9-9-9-24 and in bios there is a string of numbers that are 11-11-11-29 in memory timing. Should I change the first 11-11-11-29 to 9-9-9-24 and leave everything else on auto? If not, what should i change them to?

Here are photos of the RAM timing menus in BIOS:

Just let me know what you guys think i should change, I'm not trying to overclock them, just run them as advertised.

here is that RAM i bought:

Thanks

Assuming the RAM is compatible wit your MOBO and they're installed in the correct slots the set the CAS 9-9-9-24-2T, and DRAM Voltage 1.5v.

Q - What MOBO and what slots is the RAM installed in?
Q - Besides the 2 sticks of {F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL} is there any other RAM installed?

Q - are they ALL the SAME 2 Kit of F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL? Also, if they're the same you need to install as follows {DO NOT MIX the Kits}:

KIT 1 A1 & B1
KIT 2 A2 & B2

From the picture {top}
11-11-11-29 corresponds to the 9-9-9-24, and it's the BIOS 'safe' guess. So change from Auto to the 9-9-9-24 the 2T is the DRAM Command Rate and the 24 is the TRAS.

I bought 1 kit of 2 (2x2gb) first, then another on black friday, they are the same kits and i didn't mix them, one kit is in A1 and B1 and the other is in A2 and B2.

Thanks for your help, I'm sort of new to RAM timing.
