How to test if my CPU is bad?

Mainboard good on new x58 board. Memory seems to be good too. How can I test my CPU to see if it is bad?

i dont get your sentence there but from what i got i say that run prime95 and if you get an error, then your cpu is faulty (not 100% fine). run prime95 for atleast 12 hours in order to come to a conclusion.
