Ultra end gaming Rig @5000$

Hi i am going to have to have a new rig at $5000 the components are:CPU-intel i7-980x(pre order),Mob-Asus p6x58d,Ram-12Gb(6x2gb) corsair dominator,HDD-WD caviar black 1tb(x2),Gfx-Sapphire hd5870(x2),Opt-sony 24x dvd wrt,psu-corsair hx850w,cab-cm cosmos s,Mon-Dell u2711,,spk-Logitech x-540,CMB-Logitech cordless desktop wave & cm 120mm blue led fan(x2) with zalman fanmate2(x2),cyberpowes 1500 va ups& and a windows 7 ultimate ,my question is is there any other which can performe better than the listed with the same price tag pls also can anyone give the pros and cons of some listed items if u had it ,Also how good is my Rig w8ing 4 ur replie

wiw 5000? wow ^.^ get some kid of SSD, and Crossfire a 5970 ^.^ Nice CPU btw. xD. An OC wouldn't hurt if u OC hard, go for Liquid Cooling as some ppl say. ^.-

with $5000 the sky the limit pretty much. $1000 corei7980 $14002x 5970 $400-500 super high end motherboard $200-300 1000watt psu , $300 12gb ram, and still there probably enough there for a couple 160gb intel sdd, and a water cooling kit

Sorry i canot crossfire hd5970 cause i am not paying the electricity bill,i could if you pls tell what will the hike in bill if i had 20$(900 INR) using a 350W UPS,with no gfx card also amazon do not have hd5970 but got hd5870 and gtx 480

Are you going to crossfire/SLI?
Whats your resolution and for how many monitors?

For that kind of money you need to do more research.

Just throwing this out there, but you do realize that the 980x isn't going to boost your gaming performance right?

If you're just throwing money away for the sake of doing so, or if you're building a folding rig then so be it, but don't make the mistake of believing that your 1000$ will be well spent for games.
