Dell Inspiron

I recently came accross an inspiron 8000 that reboots itself. the unit was
dropped and since then will just start rebooting by itself. it seems to
occure after the unit had been running for awhile. i have taken it apart and
reseated everything i could. anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Try flexing the case when it's running to see if there's a loose
connection somewhere. Also, update the diags and run them in a loop
to see if you can get it to fall over.

Is the fan spinning?

You might also try a different hard drive, just in case that's the
problem.

So i tried the laptop out today and it ran for about 45 minutes then started
restarting. guess it running before was a fluke. the dell diagnostic says
everything passed the test. not sure what to try next.

any ideas?
