5850 making wierd sqealing noise?

I just bought a Sapphire 5850 from Newegg and wanted to know if this is normal because it only seems to happen sometimes during certain games like Crysis.

It makes this wierd squealing/squeaking noise during gameplay on some games...

Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Do you have a Corsair PSU, if yes it is a power problem. I trying to help somone with a similar problem yesterday and a Corsair tech guy came in and told the OP that they are working on it.

Yes, I do have a Corsair 650wtt psu but it seems like the card is making that noise and not the psu because whenever I play certain games like even chess titans for instance when I move the chess board around it makes the squealing noise but when I play games like Bad Company 2 it doesn't make the noise at all.

Like I said Corsair is looking into the issue. Go to thier forum to check it out. I would direct you to the link I was talking about but it isn't reappearing. It seems to be a Corsair PSU and Sapphire Gpu issue where the power is being used the wrong way on the card.

Crysis will probably make the card work harder than most, thus heating up the card, thus running the fan higher. Chances are you have a defective fan on the card.

It's capacitor something lol I don't remember the proper name. It's a known problem with certain graphics cards and Corsair psus. They're working on a solution.
