Im curious to know what everyones getting on their 7970s. In particular sapphire vapor-x 7970 ghz editions with 3gb as thats what i got. Also listing your fps in gw2 with all settings maxed would be cool. Or heaven bench. I got 50-75 fps with my card at stock on a 1080p res with every single settings maxed. Bout to go through the overclocking process when i get home.

Also list your cards asic quality score. Right click gpu z above tabs and click find asic quality. Mines only 60.8%!! I hope that asic is a sham like some say. Bcuz its a number pre stamped to your card by factory and all nvidias list 100%+

Dang whys mine only 60.8%? I was running 3dmark basic yesterday (stock gpu settings) and when it got to the 5th or 6th video is started showing the temple in rainbow colors like it was glitching. Does this mean my card cant handle stock settings or is it normal for 3dmark?

I have also read that asic is meaningless, but why then does it exist? Weird. Im hoping it really is just a random meaningless number. Prolly nvidia tryin to make amd look bad with a fake reading lol. All nvidias say 100%+ so maybe gpu-z is in with nvidia! Conspiracy!!!

Hello. I have a xfx 7970 GHz edition with a asic # of 60. My system includes a 3570k oc'd at 4.2 Ghz on stock voltage running on a ASRock Extreme4 MOBO. By slowing raising the gpu clock speed I was able to achieve 1180 Mhz comfortably. As for the memory clock speed, using the same method I was able to raise it to 1700 without any malfunctions. I used CCC for the overclocking.
