If the link doesn't take you to the hp site just type it in if you care to do. Or just go to the hp support site and search for beep codes. I have the same computer and bios beep codes are a bit different as per motherboard and the bios thats with it. If the guts of your computer are the same as mine then the bios manufacturer is A.M.I.(American Megatrends Inc.). Anyway, thats where the beeps come from(the bios). The link I provided(above) will deffenitly help. If you have to type it in it'll be worth it. I'm not a pc whiz but there is a way to properly insert a link to help
