AMD 7770 Freezing when changing settings

I recently got a computer with an MSI 7770 I love it it plays bf3 on high settings with low 40 high 55 FPS
I thought I would try the amd Catalyst to try and up the performance to try and get some extra fps but whenevener i change the settings like clock settings or memory clock settings it always freezes the computer and I have to set it back to default.

Is there some ratio of GPU Clock settings/memory clock settings you need?

Hi,

It sounds like the overclock you used was unstable. Try a small bump in core clock speed like 20Mhz and then test for stability by playing your game, if it's stable and the temps are good (<85c) then continue overclocking by increasing the clock speed by another 20Mhz ETC...

ok i will try at small increments but if i up the clock speed to i also up the memory speed by the same amount?

No (Well technically you can), I'd recommend overclocking either the core or memory first rather than both at the same time (makes troubleshooting easier).
