Hey guys, i have a6430f here is the spec http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/ca/en/ho/WF06b/12132708-...

Recently i put in a new nvidia gt220 and my computer starts to freeze up(even when doing nothing)

Do you guys think it has to do with the psu, i think it has 300 watts.

System Requirements:

• PCI Express or PCI Express 2.0-compliant motherboard with one dual-width x16 graphics slot

• Minimum 300Watt or greater system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating of 18A)

• 1GB of system memory

• CD-ROM drive for software installation

Yes, you will need to meet both system requirements. I'd go w/ the Corsair if it's available in your neck of the woods.

what is the difference though between 15amp, and 18 amp? What I don't get is when I am playing COD it runs fine for hours. And when I try to browse the net it just freezes on me , is there a possibility that there is a problem with the driver>

I think your PSU should be able to run the card...the GT220 is a low power card.

List the specs for your PSU.

Newest or older drivers will fix !! .. Roll forward or Roll back.

I just got off the nVidia Driver Site ... They acknowledge and explain the issue.

Fix is the very latest, (or older) drivers.
